The Kerala Kshetrasamrakshana Samiti has demanded that K.P. Sankar Das, member, Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), apologise to devotees and resign from his post over his alleged defiling of the sacred 18 steps of the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. The Samiti also demanded an inquiry into the alleged violation of human rights at the hill shrine by denying devotees and policemen enough food and drinking water, a press release said.
