The fashion bar was set high for Kennedy Oaks Day at the Flemington Racecourse's Birdcage.
Traditionally known as Ladies Day, celebrities rolled through the entrance into the private marquees on Thursday morning in an array of feminine colours and flowing fabrics.
Celebrities including Rachael Finch, Brooke Hogan and longtime star of spring racing, Jennifer Hawkins, were among those whose looks were on-trend and praised.
Here, FEMAIL looks at some of the best-dressed celebrities of the Birdcage as the Oaks Day event gets well underway.

Ever the star of spring racing, model and Face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins made her last appearance as the face of the department store wearing her friend and longtime collaborator, Alex Perry's, design.
She paired her floral dress with pink stilettos and gently waved hair, as she arrived in style in a helicopter to Flemington.
After a beautiful yet simple red outfit at the Melbourne Cup, Rachael Finch also looked stunning at Oaks Day.
The model and mother-of-two impressed in a look that she described as 'inspired by my mum in her 20s'. She wore a pastel pink Nicola Fenetti dress, Melissa Jackson hat and Isabella May earrings.

Tegan Martin also looked on-trend, having been styled by celebrity stylist, Donny Galella. The model wore an intricate Kela headpiece alongside a pink pant suit.
Montana Cox also won style plaudits for her gold outfit, while even disaster couldn't stop top model Elyse Taylor from looking glamorous.
Elyse revealed to FEMAIL on Thursday morning that she broke her fascinator on the way to the races, and so chose to keep her hair loose and simple, with an Alex Perry pink dress.

After an impressive sartorial performance at the Melbourne Cup, Miss Universe Australia 2017 Olivia Rogers's Oaks Day outfit did not disappoint.
She opted for a pretty off-the-shoulder Pas Duchas dress and Mimco crown, which she wore with coordinating earrings.
Others embracing a pink palette included Brooke Hogan, who wore a similar outfit to Rachael Finch with her custom-made Forever New outfit, and racing royalty Kate Waterhouse in satin.

Many in the Birdcage tapped into some of the leading spring racing trends of the season, including wide-brimmed hats, giant ribbons and pant suits.
Always one to embrace playful cuts and bright colours, Megan Gale looked radiant in Toni Maticevski and Salvatore Ferragamo.
Kennedy Oaks Day will also see the national winner of Myer Fashions on the Field's women's competition crowned.
The main race of the day is the Group 1 Kennedy Oaks, a classic for three-year-old fillies over 2500m, with $1 million in prize money and a coveted winner's trophy.
