Man Allegedly Tried To Hijack School Bus, Told The Students Jesus Is ComingA homeless man in California allegedly tried to hijack a school bus filled with students. ??And according to the Fresno Bee, 47-year-old Christopher Martinez told the students, “Jesus is coming.”??Police say it happened on the way to a science camp, when the bus stopped at a gas station. ??The bee reports that Martinez grabbed the collar of the bus driver and tried to pull her from the seat. The driver pulled the key from the ignition which started the alarm. ??Martinez reportedly walked to the back of the bus, not touching any of the kids on board, ??SFGATE reports that he said he needed to drive to a Christian mission, saying quote, “I need to go to the mission, I need to take the bus. I’m taking the kids to see Jesus.” ??Police who arrived on the scene arrested Martinez and charged with attempted kidnapping and carjacking. ??He’s being held on $27,500 bond in the Fresno County Jail. ??ABC30 reports that his mental health issues may be to blame. ?? | |||||
