Can Someone Tell Us What On Earth Is Up With This BMW X6?

This must be what you end up with when you combine a first-generation BMW X6 with a Pandora bracelet. So much weird stuff is going on here, we don’t even know where to begin.

Underneath all that nonsensical bling lies a perfectly good premium crossover. In fact, we really hope that designers who got to work on the X6 before it was launched can be kept away from seeing this image, otherwise they might need some serious counseling.

Let’s break it down

Starting with the roof, we see a bunch of security cameras and a couple of lights maybe? Meanwhile, the boot lid gets arguably the weirdest excuse for a “rear wing” ever, comprised of what look like censers on each side, like the ones priests use during religious ceremonies. Fitting, since the car could definitely use an exorcism.

Below all of that we see a bunch of canisters, some wiring and a set of massive exhaust tips, not to mention the smiley faces, reflective decals, a pair of eyeballs, a small ‘X6’ inscription and the word ‘Stop’ flanking the BMW badge.

The rest of the vehicle features other various inserts, some type of soft-touch housing for the door handles, an additional mirror (at least on one side) and custom wheels that seem to be fitted with accessories.

Responsible for uploading this image to Reddit was somebody with the username Ben77mc, who made a connection between this car and the Ghostbusters, although we don’t really see it. The Ghostbusters vehicle, aka Ecto-1, was packed full of equipment on top, had a latter on one side and some tubes on the other side. Nothing really decorative about it – unlike this…thing.
