Congress gives ticket to Vyapam-accused for MP assembly polls

Congress risks derailing its own campaign in Madhya Pradesh as it has given a ticket to Vyapam-accused Phundelal Singh Marko from the Pushprajgarh constituency. It is to be noted that Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been quite vocal against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government over the Vyapam scam. According to Vyapam scam whistleblower, Ashish Chaturvedi, Marko and his son were named as the accused by the state Special Task Force (STF). Neither has apparently gotten a clean chit yet. Last week, Gulab Singh Kirar, another political leader accused in Vyapam scam joined Congress.
