Emraan Hashmi plays a salesman in Tigers.

ZEE5 has announced their first Hindi original film. Starring Emraan Hashmi, the film is titled Tigers and will premiere on November 21. Emraan plays a Pakistani salesman Syed Aamir Raza in the film. The film’s story is about the fight against the unjust practices of baby product manufacturers. Tigers is directed by Danis Tanovic who won an Academy Award for his 2001 film No Man’s Land.

Emraan’s character is fighting against a company whose baby formula is killing infants. Tigers also stars Adil Hussain, Supriya Pathak, Danny Huston and Satyadeep Mishra among others.

Talking about Tigers, Emraan Hashmi said, “This movie is very close to my heart, and I am thrilled to announce its premiere with a platform like ZEE5. We have premiered at the prestigious Toronto Film Festival and travelled around the world with the film and the story has received a heart-warming welcome across. We sincerely believe that this is a story that the people should know, and hope that the audience likes it.”

Tigers premieres on ZEE5 on November 21.
