IBPS SO Recruitment 2018: What are new changes in Exam Pattern

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) holds IBPS SO examination yearly for multiple posts in multiple sector banks. This year IBPS has announced the Specialist Cadre Officer vacancy for a total of 1599 posts.
Every year more than 10 lakhs aspirants apply for the following posts under IBPS SO recruitment:
* I.T. Officer (Scale-I)
* Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I)
* Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)
* Law Officer (Scale I)
* HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I)
* Marketing Officer (Scale I)
The online applications for IBPS SO 2018 exam will start from 6th November 2018. Like every other exam, IBPS has also introduced sectional timings in the IBPS SO Prelims phase. This makes the competition more tough as from now, students need to prepare more wisely in order to complete the respective sections within the time period.

Note: -
1. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
2. Prelims phase is of qualifying in nature, no marks will be added in the final selection.
3. But candidates are required to secure minimum marks in each subject to qualify for mains.
4. Cut off marks will be decided by IBPS.
5. Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in Mains & Interview.
