Woman return midway, prevented from visiting Sabarimala Temple

A 30-year-old woman devotee, Anju, who had arrived at Pamba, with her husband and two children, to offer prayers at Sabarimala Temple, had to return mid-way. They were taken to Pamba police station. Superintendent of Police Rahul Nair said that she hasn't asked for police protection yet. If she does, we'll provide her. This is the second time that Anju from Alappuzha, who had reached the Pamba base camp with her husband and two kids, went back without being able to visit the temple.
