A 45-year-old Fall River man pleaded not guilty Friday in Falmouth District Court to domestic violence charges

 

FALMOUTH — A 45-year-old Fall River man pleaded not guilty Friday in Falmouth District Court to domestic violence charges in connection with an incident that had occurred on Main Street that morning.

Owen Campbell was sitting in a car on Main Street in Falmouth when he allegedly struck the victim in the face more than once while holding the car keys, causing cuts and abrasions, according to a police report.

A bystander called the police and Campbell was charged with assault and battery on a household member and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Campbell was held on $250 bail and is due back in court for a pretrial hearing Nov. 15, according to court documents.
