Frantic hunt for boy, 9, who went missing overnight wearing just his school uniform

A search has been launched for a nine-year-old boy who vanished after school on Tuesday.

Police believe the boy, who was last seen riding off on his scooter, did not want to go home after school.

The boy was last seen entering Wagawn Park in Woodridge, south of Brisbane, at about 3.30pm.

He is white, about 135cm tall with a slim build, short dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He was wearing his school uniform which includes a dark blue shirt and shorts.
