Jharkhand man found with throat slit in Parvat village, suicide suspected
tnn | Nov 7, 2018, 04:00 ISTSurat: A 18-year-old man from Jharkhand, Jogeswar Kisan Mahanto, was found with his throat slit from a room in Chandralok Society, Parvat village on Monday night.
Mahanto had come to Surat for work a month ago and he along with four of his roommates used to go for textile labour work in Millennium Market.
An official of police from Limbayat police station said that primarily it appeared that Mahanto had committed suicide. He also said that they have not found any sings of any one coming into the room, nor any marks at forced entry.
The police also found a knife from his room.
