In yet another hit-and-run case, a man lost his life while other two were injured after an RTV in which they were travelling was hit by a speeding Swift car near outer Delhi's Peeragarhi area on Monday evening.

Police said that they are scanning the nearby CCTV footages.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Nasood (22) who was travelling with other passengers in an RTV.

"We received a police control room call at around 10 pm about the incident that a Swift car has allegedly hit a RTV which turned turtle. A team was rushed to the spot. Three injured persons were rushed to the hospital," said Seju P Kuruvilla, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), outer district.

"Nasood was declared dead on arrival while two others are undergoing treatment," said police.

A case under relevant sections has been registered.

"We are scanning the footages of the nearby area to ascertain the identity of the car," said Kuruvilla.
