Naidu congratulates Karnataka CM on JD(S)-Cong win in by-polls

Ahead of their meeting scheduled for November 9, N Chandrababu Tuesday spoke to his counterpart H D over phone and congratulated the latter on the JD(S)-combine's "spectacular victory" in the by-elections.

Later, addressing the coordination committee of the TDP, Naidu noted that there was a significant change in the voting trend in the by-polls in compared to the Assembly elections in May.

"The political scenario is changing day by day. Over-confidence and arrogance will surely lead to downfall," Naidu told his party leaders.

The same results would repeat in the Assembly elections in neighbouring Telangana next month, where the TDP is in alliance with the Congress and other parties taking on the ruling TRS, TDP leaders said.
