Bullet-riddled body of security guard found in bank
TNN | Nov 6, 2018, 07:27 ISTFazilka: A bullet-riddled body of security guard was found in the washroom of an SBI branch in Fazilka on Monday.
The guard was identified as Banta Singh (55). His body was spotted by a bank employee who had gone to the toilet. He saw the body in a pool of blood and Banta’s double barrel rifle was lying on the floor. He reported the matter to the bank officials and the police.
Sources said the security guard committed suicide, but surprisingly nobody from the bank staff heard any shot.
Police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 (unnatural death) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and handed over the body to the family after the postmortem.
