Velumani, Arukutty perform Oyilattam dance at temple
tnn | Nov 6, 2018, 00:44 ISTCoimbatore: Municipal administration minister S P Velumani and MLA V C Arukutty performed Oyilattam dance as part of a temple festival celebrations at Kaikolampalayam here on Sunday.
Kumbabishekam was held at the recently-constructed Chithi Puthi Vinayagar temple at Kaikolampalayam on Sunday. Velumani, Arukutty and Pollachi MP Mahendran participated in the temple festival. When Oyilattam, a dance form, was performed as part of the celebrations, the minister and the MLA successfully tried some steps.
It is to be noted that Arukutty used to perform dance during election campaigns and at temple functions. He also has a musical team.
