A bear cub refused to give up as it faced a steep snowy mountain and multiple slides down the icy surface.

The video was shared by Channel 5 and CBeebies presenter Storm Huntley and has attracted millions of views on social media.

The mother bear is strong enough to vault to the peak but has to wait as its baby struggles below in the Magadan region of Russia on June 19.

Mother bear's usually have two or three cubs and some have suggested that the parenting skills shown in this video may have had a fatal track record.
