Valedictory function of NLCIL’s Vigilance Awareness Week held in Neyveli

The valedictory function of Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 of NLCIL was held in Neyveli on Saturday. Speaking at the event, Superintendent of Police P. Saravanan said if people refused to pay bribe, corruption will not take place.

Greed, social disparity, political affiliations, lack of integrity and awareness may lead to corrupt activities but with awareness and self-realisation, if people refuse to allow corruption into their lives, there will be no opportunity for the corrupt to carry out their illegal deeds, he said. Each individual as a responsible citizen can definitely make a difference by breaking the chain of corruption, he added.
