MS Dhoni led the wishes to Virat Kohli on his 30th birthday.

MS Dhoni led the wishes for skipper Virat Kohli as he turns 30 on Monday (November 5). In a video posted by the BCCI with members of the Indian team wishing Kohli, Dhoni shared an inside secret into Kohli and how he unwinds from the gruelling nature of cricket. While revealing the information, Dhoni also handed Kohli a special task.

In the video, Dhoni showed an old picture of Virat Kohli with a toy gun in his hand and the veteran joked that the picture proves that he is a big fan of the mobile game PUBG. The video game – a first person shooting game – is quite the rage with over a 100 million downloads on mobile.

In the video, Dhoni said, “Hi virat. Wish you a very, very happy birthday. I know you’re a big PUBG fan because i just found this cool picture of yours. So why dont you come and teach Manish Pandey, especially, how to play a first person shooting game.”

Ravindra Jadeja, besides the wishes also said, “Score lot of runs. i think you should start eating more roti, rice and sweets.”

Spinner Kuldeep Yadav was full of praise for Kohli for the energy he brings on and off the pitch. “It’s a pleasure to play alongside you. The kind of energy you have on the field and off the field, it is a lot of fun,” he said.

India coach Ravi Shastri stood alongside the rest of the coaching said, “On behalf of the entire coaching staff, a very happy 25th – that’s what we believe you are. Have an absolute blast and we’ll have one on your name for sure.”

Kohli has been rested for ongoing T20 series against West Indies with Rohit Sharma taking over the captaincy duties but that has not stopped the India skipper from preparing for what is a bigger task ahead – series against Australia. He shared a post of him sweating it out in the gym where he was lifting weights and doing squats.“Love going back to my favourite lifts. Any opportunity to get stronger and fitter is something I crave for,” he captioned his post.
