Good skincare is at the heart of every woman's beauty regime, which is perhaps why Victoria Beckham paid a visit to one of Australia's top facialists while she was in Sydney.

Melanie Grant boasts a clientele comprising of Nicole Trunfio, Jessica Gomes and Lara Worthington.

When Victoria Beckham came to visit Melanie prescribed her products to get her complexion glowing.

From a $70 cleanser to a $370 cream the designer described as 'amazing', Victoria shared the products she is now using on her Instagram profile.

She then revealed some of the products the so-called 'skin whisperer' suggest she use, including Cosmedix Purity Solution ($57) and Cosmedix Purity Clean ($70) (right)

Both of these are deep cleaning, decongesting products which aim to give a 'nourished complexion that is deeply purified without any residue'.

Melanie recommended Victoria follow these with Cosmedix Elite Serum 24 ($155) at night, to refine and brighten her skin texture.

Finally, the 44-year-old was prescribed the cult product, Augustinus Bader The Cream (pictured) moisturiser ($370), which boasts a five star rating online

When it comes to an eye cream, again Victoria was given another product by Cosmedix - the Eye Doctor ($220), which she described as 'beyond' on her Instagram stories.

This cream contains retinol for increased cellular turnover, and supposedly protects from environmental aggressors.

Victoria Beckham has been using it both in the morning and at night.

Previously speaking to FEMAIL, Melanie Grant shared her five golden rules for glowing skin, and the good news is they won't set you back thousands.

Firstly, she said it's as important to focus on the inside as it is the outside, which means getting plenty of sleep and following an anti-inflammatory diet.

Next, she said it's important to use SPF every single day of the year, even if it's cloudy.

'Thirdly, fresh, dewy, polished skin is well hydrated and well exfoliated,' Melanie said.

'Exfoliating encourages cells to shed. I love ingredients such as lactic acid which chemically exfoliates the skin.'

She also said you need to be aware not to overload on too many active products, and remember your skincare regime should end at your bust rather than the end of your face.
