Ferrari SP1/SP2 Build Slot Is For The Car Collector That Has It All

Well, this has become something of a norm lately when it comes to sought-after supercars, so it doesn’t surprise us that someone is selling a build slot for Ferrari’s Monza SP1 or SP2.

The advertisement listed by KnightInternational states that the car can be configured to either of the two specs. And to make the procurement legal, the sale will be handled lawyer-to-lawyer.

The vendor doesn’t give any pricing details, as anyone interested in the sale is being encouraged to contact them directly. However, we’re likely looking at a 7-figure price tag, premium included, for securing the official build slot for the supercars inspired by the barchettas of the 1950s and fitted with modern technology.

Both the SP1 or SP2 are powered by a 6.5-liter V12. The unit is based on the one in the 812 Superfast, and is the company’s most powerful naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder ever, making an impressive 810 PS (799 hp / 603 kW) and 719 Nm (530 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes as little as 2.9 seconds, and top speed exceeds the 300 km/h (186 mph) mark.

The Monza SP1 is a single-seater model, which features a tonneau cover over the passenger area, whereas the Monza SP2 drops the latter in favor of a passenger seat. It’s also equipped with a small windscreen and another roll bar hoop. So, apart from the money, whoever goes for that slot will have to make up their mind if they want to drive solo or share the experience. Decisions, decisions…
