SpaceX: Roadster-Driving Mannequin 'Starman' Has Passed Mars

SpaceX has announced that its mannequin astronaut, dubbed Starman, has journeyed past Mars.????In a tweet that references The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, SpaceX said: “Starman’s current location.

Next stop, the restaurant at the end of the universe.”??????For those who missed it, Starman is a mannequin in the driver’s seat of a Tesla Roadster -- which was launched aboard the Falcon Heavy Rocket and sent into space.??????Back in February before the launch, Musk admitted that they wanted to change things up, so instead of sending concrete or steel blocks as cargo, they launched the Roadster.??????They even put the mannequin in a SpaceX space suit to help the company test it before sending humans into space.????To make things better, the Roadster was playing David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” during the launch.????
