‘Congress taking fake credit for work’

Picture for representational purpose onlyLUDHIANA: The Congress MP Ravneet Bittu and MLA Sanjay Talwar on Saturday drew flak from the SAD-BJP leaders after they inaugurated the construction work for the new building of Government college in the East constituency on Saturday. The rival party members claimed that the inauguration for the work has already been done earlier and the ruling party that had nothing to showcase as development work was taking credit for the works which were initiated earlier.
The district BJP unit vice president Parminder Mehta commented that earlier the CM Captain Amarinder Singh and local bodies minister Navjot Sidhu too had done inauguration at the site for the work and by doing the inauguration again the Congress leaders were proving that they had nothing new to showcase. “The Congress leaders were also doing inauguration of routine road construction work so one can judge the actual condition of government,” he said.
The Congress leaders however denied the claims.
