NOIDA: The Noida Authority will soon install CCTV cameras at its building in Sector 6 that will monitor its office 24X7. The move has been taken to improve transparency and safety of the office.
The Authority has floated a tender to hire a service provider of the CCTV cameras. The cameras will be installed at different spots across all the departments of the office located in Sector 6. They will also check unwanted incidents as people frequently protest outside the office and sometimes vandalise the property. “We have floated a tender to hire a service provider. The last date for the application is November 17,” said a Noida Authority official.
The project will cost nearly Rs 24 lakh. The CCTV cameras will be installed within a month of awarding the contract.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated tenderer whose bid will be determined to be responsive to all the conditions of the contract after meeting the technical and qualification requirement. The official said the applicants are required to quote only one rate. In case an applicant quotes two or more rates, his application will be rejected. Similarly, one applicant shall submit only one application for the tender. “Only one person from a company or a family can apply for the tender. Whoever breaches this condition, their application will be rejected,” the official added.
In giving their rates, the applicants should take into account all fluctuations of market rates of the equipment. Their quotation shall be for all completed items of the work including, testing, screening, tools and plants, carriage of materials to site, stacking, etc.
