Two 'terrorists' beaten to death by Assam mob

The incident occurred at Harinagar market in Lakhipur subdivision. "Because of the 12-hour bandh against the Tinsukia killings, the otherwise busy market was deserted. The only people who were out on the streets were picketers. Around 11am, when they saw two men walking by, one of whom was carrying a bag, they grew suspicious. The picketers stopped them, questioned them and searched the bag," a local said.
