A meeting of educationists and former and present Vice Chancellors here on Saturday held the view that the media and the public had not joined discussions on changes to be introduced in the education system.
Addressing the meet, organised as part of the 22nd Kochi International Book Festival here, they said there should be a change in people’s mindset so that changes were brought about in the educational system, said a press release here. Former Ambassador T.P. Sreenivasan inaugurated the meet. The meet expressed the view that all political parties should come together to forge an education policy for the State. There is a situation where policies are changed when governments change, the release added.
