Woman cop allegedly raped by PSI in Rajkot

RAJKOT: A woman assistant sub inspector (ASI) of Surendranagar has accused a police sub inspector (PSI) of Patan of raping her since last ten months. The victim logded a complaint with B division police station of Surednranagar on Sunday.
According to the complaint, Aashish Damor (30) allegedly raped the lady ASI, who was on probation and posted at police headquarters in Surendranagar. Accused Damor promised to marry and established relations with her. He took her to different guest houses of Surendrangar since December 2017.
However, nearly after a year, the ASI came to know that the accused was already married. According to police, Damor also threatened her not to disclose the incidents.
Investigating officer P R Sagar said, “They are both natives of neighboring village of Santrampur taluka in Mahisagar district and they met during training programme in Gandhinagar. ”
The PSI has been booked under IPC sections 507, 504, 406 and 376.
