The children went around the Raj Bhavan and played in the garden area before they were treated to a sumptuous high tea and gifts by the Governor. 

A total of 517 boys and girls from 12 schools were invited to Raj Bhavan to celebrate Deepavali with the Governor. They visited the Presidential Guest House, where President and other important dignitaries stay, the Durbar Hall where swearing-in ceremonies take place, the forest areas where deer roam freely and the polo ground.
