BENGALURU: While the Bengaluru Revised Master Plan-2031 is yet to take off, the state government is set to leapfrog to 2050.

After reviewing the functioning of the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) , Bengaluru development minister G Parameshwara on Sunday said: "We plan to set up Vision-2050. The Bengaluru Metropolitan Region Development Authority will prepare the project that envisages linking Hoskote, Doddaballapur, Anekal and Dobspet with the city through the peripheral ring road. With this, new townships will be created and it will reduce pressure on the city."

He said RMP-2031 will be revised and made an extension of Vision Bengaluru-2050. tnn
