Cops probe case of boy flashing gun
TNN | Nov 4, 2018, 09:01 ISTVARANASI: Some pictures of a student of a degree college in Ballia, displaying a pistol in public, went viral on social media after the polling of students union on Thursday.
The police are investigating the matter.
According to reports, a student posted photos of victory celebration on social media in which was seen with pistol in his hand on a vehicle.
He had uploaded the pictures after the victory of his friend in students union poll.
Ballia SP Sriparna Gongulee said that the matter has come to her notice and is being investigated.
After the polling, all students had left for home, she said adding that perhaps the incident would have occurred outside the college campus.
Appropriate action would be taken after investigation, she added.
