
Pulitzer Prize winner Andrew Sean Greer, mythology expert and author Devdutt Pattanaik, historian Ramchandra Guha, actor Naseeruddin Shah will be among the personalities addressing the 10th Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival (AKLF) to be held from January 18 to 20, said a statement issued by AKLF Saturday.
The list of 16 speakers also includes historian and biographer Rajmohan Gandhi, writer and parliamentarian Shashi Tharoor, columnist and novelist Shobhaa De and journalist Seema Goswami.
Priti Paul, director of the Apeejay Surrendra Group, which organises the festival, said, “AKLF has connected, empowered and mobilised new voices and ideas since its inception in 2010…”
Anjum Katyal, co-director of AKLF since 2012, said, “All through 2018 we have crafted innovative new formats leading up to our 10th year…we are focused on making AKLF the intimate in-depth festival that our audiences and delegates love.”
