Thugs of Hindostan releases on November 8.

Moviegoers can now buy tickets for Yash Raj Films’ Thugs of Hindostan. The adventure film has big names like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in the cast and is expected to rake in big numbers also due to its holiday release. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, has created a strong buzz thanks to its promos and posters.

BookMyShow COO Ashish Saksena said in a statement, “The bookings for Thugs of Hindostan will open on November 3 and it is expected to take an unprecedented opening. The fact that the film will also release in Tamil and Telugu adds to the excitement and the hype that surrounds the film ahead of its release.”

He added, “Diwali is by far the best time of the year to release a film. Being one of the biggest festivals in India, the Diwali celebrations last anywhere between 3-5 days with a number of holidays that come right after it, making it the best time for people to watch films with their families. The expectations from Thugs of Hindostan are far more also because while normally during this time at least two major Hindi films are slated for release, this year the Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan starrer is the solo Hindi release.

Ashish also spoke about the chances of Vijay starrer Sarkar. He said, “Sarkar is a highly anticipated film due to the magic combination of superstar Vijay and AR Murugadoss as the director. Both of them individually are widely acclaimed and popular and the fact that they are coming together for Sarkar adds to the buzz. The film will also release in Telugu.”

While Thugs of Hindostan releases on November 8, Sarkar hits screens on November 6.
