Anderson was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital, but died from his injuries en route
Anderson died from his injuries on his way to hospital, with tributes quickly pouring in.
One of which was from his mother, who told Nine News her son always expressed himself through his music.
In the only music video posted to the young rapper's personal YouTube channel, titled 4iRome, Anderson sings about loyalty.
In the description of the video, he writes that he wrote the song after the near-death experience of a close friend.
'Got nothing but love for the people who have love for me,' he writes.
'Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family.'

'I want to provide for the people in my life who hold me down and help me write,' he sings.
But some eerie lyrics can be heard, particularly at the end of the song.
Lifting lines from the 1999 film Fight Club, the words 'I want you to hit me as hard as you can' are spoken over video of Anderson rapping at a live show.
'I don't want to die without any scars.'

The man taken into police custody over Anderson's death was a former friend, Mathew Flame.
Police attended the Queenscliff park just after 6am on Sunday and had to use force to get Flame off of Anderson's body.
Detective Inspector Michael Boutouridis said the 20-year-old is expected to be charged with murder.
At the scene of his death, messages have been tied to poles and left alongside flowers.
'We will always miss your funny, cheeky ways. You were a loving friend and a great mate,' one reads.
Meanwhile, Anderson's father, iconic Australian rock star Angry Anderson, is rushing back to Sydney to be with friends and family.
He was in the middle of a tour with his band Rose Tattoo when his eldest son called him with the grim news.
