The city police arrested three persons for stealing a three-sovereign chain from a house in Kodambakkam. Police said that the victim Krishnamoorthy of Kodambakkam went out on October 6. The city police arrested three persons for stealing a three-sovereign chain from a house in Kodambakkam. Police said that the victim Krishnamoorthy of Kodambakkam went out on October 6. When he returned in the evening, he found that three sovereign jewels, 100 grams of silver, two laptops and one mobile phone was missing. Following this, he filed a complaint at the Kodabakkam police station. Based on the images found in the CCTV footage, they arrested Harithpilith (35), Kamal alias Kamalakannan (55) and Kumaresan (49). Police said that all three of them have a few other burglary cases pending against them. They were remanded in judicial custody.
