LUCKNOW: In a daring step, a Kashmiri youth studying at a university in Uttar Pradesh is suspected to have become a terrorist of ISIS.

The photo of the Kashmiri student identified as Ehatsham Bilal Sofi, a first year student of graduation of Sharda University in Noida, went missing a few days back and everyone thought he went to his native place Pulwama in Kashmir.

But when his photo came in the social media where Ehatsham was posing with an AK-47 and on the backdrop there is an ISIS flag, the security personnel both in UP and Kashmir went tizzy.

The youth also released his audio video in which he was saying that he has joined the ISIS.

A senior police official said here on Saturday that the youth Ehatsham had a fight with some Afgani students on last Saturday and thereafter he was found missing.

"The security personnel had found his mobile phone working till Sunday after he boarded a flight to Srinagar from Delhi. The family of Ehatsham also lodged an FIR with Knowledge Park police station in Noida," the police officer said.

The security agencies in UP as well as of Kashmir are investigating the matter.
