Tamil Nadu entered the final of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy (Under-19) as it defeated Team Rajasthan by two wickets at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha, Nagpur.

Tamil Nadu chose to field after winning the toss. Rajasthan was all-out for a meagre 148 in 39.2 overs because of an excellent bowling performance from TN. S Kishan Kumar and ME Yazh Arun Mozhi picked up three wickets for the winner. The chase was not a comfortable one for TN as it lost eight wickets in 38.1 overs, with S Abishiek top-scoring with 48 runs. Akash Singh’s (Rajasthan) five-wicket haul went in vain as TN came up trumps eventually.
