Congrats! @M_marxi2 and @fafdeklerk were nominated for the prestigious @WorldRugby Player of the Year Award. OPINION
The extent of Warren Whiteley’s value to coach Rassie Erasmus seems to have been illustrated with his return to the Springbok No 8 shirt at Twickenham, says Sport24 chief writer Rob Houwing.
QUOTES
England coach Eddie Jones:
"We're missing 400 caps. You don't just replace 400 caps overnight. It's probably the most inexperienced pack England have had for a long time. (But) It's a great chance to show the potential depth of our squad.
"How many times in the last three years have we had every player available? Not often. How many times have we had four or five unavailable? Very often. You've got to play with those cards now. We have to find alternatives, and see who can make the jump up to international rugby."
Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus:
"This match will be a huge tactical affair with much of the outcome
depending on how you handle the set phases and kicking game. England will be desperate to win this one at Twickenham."
'BOK PACK COULD DESTROY ENGLAND'
Former England utility back Austin Healey says England must avoid being caught up in a physical arm-wrestle with the Springboks.
