Angadia firm staffer robbed of diamond parcel, cash
TNN | Nov 3, 2018, 04:00 ISTRajkot: An angadia firm employee was robbed of a diamond parcel worth Rs 3 lakh and Rs 10,000 cash on Una-Timbi Road in Una of Gir Somnath district on Friday.
Police said three unidentified robbers had been following Vishnu Patel (38) on their bike since he had left the angadia firm near Una bus stand carrying the diamond parcel and cash with him on his bike.
“The robbers appeared to know the valuables that Patel was carrying and hence they decided to loot him. They followed Patel’s bike on their motorcycle. On Una-Timbi Road, they overtook Patel’s bike, pushed him off his bike and fledafter snatching the bag containing the cash and valuables from him,” police inspector of Una police station B N Khambhala said.
