Ujjain: In an important meeting of the “sant” community in which 13 ‘akhadas’ took part, Namdevdas alias Computer Baba was expelled from the ‘akhakda’. He was also divested from Mahamandleshwar post on Thursday.
The “sants” from all the ‘akhadas’ met at Shri Panch Digamber Akhada located on Ankpat Marg and held a press conference. The national secretary of the ‘Akhada’, Shivshakar Das addressing the conference alleged that Computer Baba was playing politics and lowered the image of the “sant” community.
Earlier, Computer Baba was extolling CM Shivrajsingh Chouhan and later he alleged him of corruption and illegal mining, Das told. It seems that he is playing politics, Das added. Das also declared that none of us are supporting Computer Baba’s activities or statements.
He alleged that Computer Baba was misusing his designation for his vested interests. Computer Baba will not be eligible to use the land acquired by the Akhada in the upcoming Kumbh fair to be held in Prayagraj. According to Das, senior “sant” Balakdasji and other prominent sants were present at the meeting.
Computer Baba refutes allegations
Denying allegations levelled against him, Computer Baba alleged that “ the BJP government took revenge against me as I opposed illegal mining. He also said he will now think over the invitation received by ‘Pandorkar Sarkar’. Mockingly he said, the Akhada Parishad had been formed to save the religion instead of saving Shivraj government. “I will remain unflinching on my path of truth and religion,” he added.
