Cops solve 26 house break-ins , arrest five

THANE: The city police commissionerate has detected nearly 26 house break-in cases with the arrest of five people recently.
In the first case, the unit-5 of the crime branch arrested three burglars, who have been identified as Rohit Shewale, Sanju Shetty and Bhushan Bandekar. During interrogation, the cops learnt that they were involved in 14 house breakins.
In the second instance, the zone-1 squad arrested two burglars. With their arrests, the cops solved 12 house break-in cases in Mumbra, said D S Swami, deputy commissioner of police.
