Amritsar tragedy: Navjot Kaur Sidhu appears before inquiry panel

Punjab Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Friday appeared before the inquiry panel on Amritsar train tragedy. After meeting the inquiry panel she said, “It is very important for me to be a part of the inquiry.” Clarifying Navjot Singh Sidhu’s absence, she said that he is not in Punjab and he has already submitted his written statement to the panel. Navjot Kaur was the chief guest at the Dussehra event where the train tragedy took place. Over 55 people had lost their lives in the accident and several others got injured.
