Paripoornananda kick-starts campaign, rules out alliance with TRS

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Swami Paripoornananda has said that his party will form the government on its own in Telangana by winning a minimum of 70 seats and made it clear that the party will have no understanding whatsoever with the TRS.

‘Vijaya Bheri’

Addressing a press conference before kick-starting election campaign titled ‘Vijaya Bheri’ here on Thursday, he said that all political parties were afraid of the BJP and its strong leadership in the form of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. “BJP will not revolve around anyone or any party as it is like the sun. All parties will revolve around our party alone,” he said. He said the party was fielding candidates for all 119 constituencies and he has to go round for campaign in all of them, adding that, “I will not contest for any constituency. However, if party leadership asks I will be in the fray. I will discharge my duties as per the directions of party high command.”

Revealing that he was the student of Arshya Gurukulam at Adlur nearby, where he studied Vedas during 1987-88, he said he liked the place a lot.

Expressing hope that BJP candidate K. Venkatramana Reddy will win with a majority of 30,000 votes, Paripoornananda said that the former’s victory would herald the victory of the party.

Ruling out the impact of Mahakootami, Paripoornananda wondered how the BJP could will align with the TRS, which has an alliance with MIM. The BJP district B. Laxma Reddy, Venkatramana Reddy and Muralidhar Goud were present.
