A dog's paws have been severely burnt in the summer heatwave and another was cruelly left tied up by Bondi Beach after its owner went for a swim.
Ally Hensley, 37, was furious when she found a dog tied up on Sydney's Bondi Beach in 31C weather on Friday morning.
According to Ms Hensley, she and her mother came across the dog, named Charli, who was distressed, panting, pacing and crying.

The concerned Bondi local posted to Facebook, saying: 'To the ba***rd that left his dog in 31 degrees heat for his summer swim - you disgusted me with your cruelty and your excuses disgusted me even more!'
Helena Kotsiomitis replied to Ms Hensley warning that dogs paws can blister on hot pavements.
She wrote: 'It's not just the heat. The ground is boiling, it can burn their paws.'
Ms Hensley put a warning out to animal owners, asking them to consider whether a swim is more important than an animal's life.
The 37-year-old described the scene as her 'first hands-on experience with animal cruelty'.
Sydney copped an intense introduction to summer, as temperatures in the harbour city hit 39C on Friday.
Thousands of Australians took to the beaches in full force, with many heading to Bondi, where Charli's owner was keen to soak up the sun
Although the pet was situated next to some bins, it was only providing small amounts of relief in terms of shade as the ground was also scorching hot.
Talking to Yahoo7, Ms Hensley said her and her mother stayed with Charli for about 45 minutes, in an attempt to make the pup comfortable in the heat.
'My conscience wouldn't have been ok walking away,' Ms Hensley said.
Over the time spent with the dog, she and her mother gave the dog some water and attempted to cool Charli down, pouring water on her back and wetting her paws.

'I was furious and I could see the dog looking at the water. Her gaze was pretty fixed,' she said.
The concerned local said it was an act of cruelty, and told owners to 'step away from the beach'.
The RSPCA warns that animals can be susceptible to heatstroke and owners should try their best to cool them down.
This includes putting them in a cool, shaded area with good ventilation and making sure they have access to clean water.
