Ahead of Diwali, Food Safety dept destroys 600 kg of fake sweets in UP's Moradabad

Ahead of Diwali celebrations, over 600 kg of fake sweets were recovered in Moradabad. Members of the Food Safety Department arrived at the godown and destroyed the fake sweets. The sweets were being made from powder instead of milk. These sweets could have adversely affected he health of consumers. A food security official advised people to check the quality of sweets before buying it for the festival."
