11K visit Gandhi Museum in October

Rajkot: Close to 11,000 people visited Mahatma Gandhi Museum in October within a month of its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi had inaugurated the museum that has been built by converting Alfred High School on September 30.
Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) has earned Rs 2.39 lakh through visitors charges in October. The visitors included students from schools and colleges, nearly 100 from Rajasthan, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh, nearly 80 foreigners and judges of Kolkata and Allahabad high courts.
The museum has 39 galleries depicting the life and journey of Mahatma and his principals.
In 42 rooms, visitors can experience the virtual life of Gandhiji before Independence and incidents which transformed his life. The whole life of Mahatma is depicted through projection, mapping, animation, wall painting.
