NEW DELHI: The online application process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 for admission to the undergraduate (UG) courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS etc is starting today i.e., from November 1, 2018.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for NEET-UG 2019 through the National Testing Agency (NTA) official website - nta.ac.in. The NEET UG 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on May 5 and the result will be declared on June 5, 2019. The NEET UG 2019 Admit Card will be released on April 15, 2019.

NEET-UG 2019: Important dates
For the first time this year, the NTA will be conducting the examination, replacing the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Official notification
A merit list will be prepared through the entrance exam and based on the merit list seats in various medical colleges under MCI/DCI/CCIM will be filled.
It may be noted that the autonomous institutions like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) conduct entrance examination separately.
The NTA will conduct the examination, declare the result and handover the merit list to the participating institutes, unitersitites, states and DGHS.

3. State or Management or NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical or Dental Colleges OR any Private or Deemed University
4. Central Pool Quota Seats
Documents required for filling up NEET 2019 application form
1) Class X marksheet/certificate
2) Class XII marksheet (not in case you are appearing this year)
3) Scanned copy of candidate's passport sized photograph
4) Scanned copy of candidate's signature
5) ID proof (issued by competent authority) like Aadhaar card or Voter ID card
NOTE: The Supreme Court on September 26 had said that the Aadhaar number (unique identification number) cannot be made mandatory for any national entrance examination for now. Therefor, the candidates can provide the scanned copy of any government issued identity card like Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card etc.
