The husband and in-laws of a 28-year-old woman have been booked for gang rape, unnatural sex, intimidation and criminal conspiracy, the police said here on Wednesday.
The incident was reported at Sihani Gate police station in Ghaziabad.
The woman claimed her husband forced her to have unnatural sex. She accused her mother-in-law of conniving with two relatives to force her into prostitution, the police said.
The victim also said she had complained against her mother-in-law to her husband, but he allegedly told her to obey his mother’s instructions.
The woman has also claimed that she was burnt with cigarettes.
The police said an FIR has been registered and further investigation into the matter is on. The woman has been sent for medical examination.
