Yogi Adityanath to visit Statue of Unity today: CM

GANDHINAGAR: Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh will visit the Statue of Unity on Friday, November 2. President of India, Ram Nath Kovind will also arrive in Gujarat to visit the world’s tallest statue, Statue of Unity at Kevadia Colony in Narmada District on December 15, 2018, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani told reporters at Nirma University campus on Thursday.

During his visit to the Statue of Unity, the UP CM will be accompanied by Rupani along with senior officials of the state government. Both, chief ministers will also visit the Valley of Flowers, Tent City, museum, and exhibition in the integrated complex.


Adityanath is the first chief minister from another state to visit the Statue of Unity, which was dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on October 31. Adityanath will be accompanied by senior secretaries and officials of the Uttar Pradesh government.


Rupani told reporters that plans are in place for chief ministers of many other states, Union ministers, senior officials, industrialists and other dignitaries to visit the statue of Sardar Patel and pay homage to him.
