PSUs in the city organised ‘unity runs’ as part of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day), marking the birth anniversary of Sardhar Vallabhbhai Patel on Wednesday.
RINL Director (Personnel) K.C. Das administered the ‘unity pledge’. HPCL-Visakh Refinery Executive Director A.S.V. Ramanan administered the pledge in Hindi and Chief General Manager (technical) B. Balagangadharam in English.
Visakhapatnam Port Trust Deputy Chairman P.L. Haranadh addressed the employees and took part in the ‘unity run’. Executive Director (corporate Planning & personnel) S. Ramesh Varma flagged off the run at Scindia. A ‘unity run’ was organised at Deepanjalinagar township of NTPC Simhadri. Earlier, Group General Manager Arup Ratan Maiti administered the pledge among the employees.
