Thousands of booze-fuelled revellers hit bars and clubs across the country for Halloween last night wearing their spookiest attire - but all that partying may have left some feeling pretty ghastly this morning.
There were scary ghosts, evil nurses, clowns and vampires all visible on the streets of Portsmouth, Birmingham, Bristol and Newcastle alongside escaped prison inmates, scary clowns, and even a Black Death doctor.
And despite the chilly temperatures people were determined to have a good time, parading through city centres in their frightening garb.
Some may have had too much deadly poison however, with pictures showing boozed up party-goers sitting slumped on pavements, and being taken away in ambulances.
Others risked breaking the law by letting off fireworks near large crowds, something police forces across the country have repeatedly warned against.
Meanwhile, on social media things became political, with partygoers sharing photos of their hilarious Brexit memes.
