New Delhi: Solar power producer Azure Power today announced it has signed a Letter of Award (LoA) with NTPC Ltd for a 300 Megawatt solar power project. Azure had won the project in an auction conducted by NTPC.Azure will provide power from the project at a tariff of Rs 2.59 per unit for 25 years and is expected to be commissioned in 2021. The company is yet to decide on a location for the project.
The company has a portfolio of solar projects with 3,000 Mw capacity across India. This includes both commissioned and under-construction projects.
